HomeOur team

Six practitioners, no locums.

The person you book is the person you see. If someone else in the building is a better fit for the problem, they walk you down the hall and introduce you, and you do not start the story again.

01Who you will see

Two physios, two chiros, two massage therapists.

Every practitioner here is registered or accredited with their national body. Qualifications are listed in full because you should not have to ask.

Drawn portrait mark for Elise Warrender

Elise Warrender

Physiotherapist · Principal

BPhysio (Hons), University of Queensland. Registered with AHPRA. Member, Australian Physiotherapy Association.

Elise opened the Newstead rooms in 2011 after eight years in hospital outpatients. She still takes the hardest lower backs herself, and she is the one who decides whether a case needs a scan, a specialist or simply more time.

Drawn portrait mark for Dan Oakley

Dan Oakley

Sports massage therapist

Diploma of Remedial Massage, Certificate IV in Sports Trainer. Member, Massage and Myotherapy Australia.

The portrait marks above are drawn, not photographed. We would rather show you a name and a qualification than a stock photo of somebody who does not work here.

02How the team works

One file, three disciplines.

Most people arrive having already told their story twice somewhere else. Here it is written down once and everyone who treats you reads it before you walk in.

1

One assessment, not three

Whoever you see first does the full assessment and writes it up. Nobody repeats it on you the following week.

2

Handovers happen in person

If the physio thinks the chiropractor should see you, they walk you across and say why in front of you, so you hear the reasoning.

3

A weekly case meeting

Thursday mornings the whole team talks through the cases that are not moving. Your name comes up before your plan changes.

4

We refer out when we should

Surgeons, sports physicians, GPs and podiatrists. If this is not ours to fix, we say so early rather than booking you in again.

03Registration and training

Checkable, every one of them.

Physiotherapy

AHPRA registered

Both physiotherapists hold current general registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. You can look up any registration number on the AHPRA public register yourself.

  • Australian Physiotherapy Association members
  • Annual professional development recorded
  • Insured and first aid current
Chiropractic

Board registered

Both chiropractors hold current registration with the Chiropractic Board of Australia. They use the title Dr in the way chiropractors are allowed to, and neither is a medical doctor.

  • Five year university qualified
  • Radiography training current
  • Advertising checked against AHPRA guidelines
Massage

Association accredited

Massage therapy is not an AHPRA registered profession, so accreditation runs through the association instead. Both of ours are accredited members of Massage and Myotherapy Australia.

  • Diploma of Remedial Massage minimum
  • Health fund provider numbers current
  • Rebates available on extras cover

Why there are no quotes on this page. Australian health advertising rules do not allow a clinic to publish patient reviews or stories about their care, and that applies to practitioner pages as much as anywhere else. So we show the score and the number of people behind it, and leave the reading to you on those sites. Figures updated 1 September 2026.
